Fixing Canon Wrong Inkjet Cartridge Error

Are you bothered with your canon printer giving you “Wrong Cartridge” error message every time you try to print? This is not an issue caused by the actual print head itself. This is a common problem with many of the printer ranges model from Canon.

One of the main reasons for this error message is the electrical terminals which connect the printer to the print head or have become clogged or oxidized over a long period of use. One of the best ways to fix this issue is to remove all of the ink cartridges and then remove the actual print head.

Once the print head is cleaned and removed you will discover green and gold circuit board which is actually the part that needs cleaning. Give a nice cleaning with some non corrosive cleaner or alcohol. Once it is cleaned the print head is then reinstalled and the cartridge is put back in for trial. Most of the time, this method will work out and the problem will be fixed, if however the error message still persists then it is almost certain that the print head is died and needs replacement. If this is the case then simply go for a latest model of Canon printer as modern day printers are more technically efficient and replacing the print head is not economically worthwhile.
