Here we go again, HP is increasing its prices on June 1, 2013

According to a letter sent out by HP on May 1, 2013 and titled “Price Increase Announcement – HP Small Format Ink Cartridges and Photo Value Packs”, HP has made its resellers aware that “As of June 1st, 2013, HP is increasing the list prices on select small format ink cartridges and photo value packs. Actual price increases will vary by SKU.”

That is the official statement by HP.  They go on to explain these prices increases by saying:

“As part of HP’s normal portfolio management process, the company regularly reviews pricing for all its products and makes adjustments accordingly. As always, HP is committed to developing products and services that meet its customers’  needs. This includes HP Inkjet Cartridges and photo value packs which will continue to provide superior value, reliability and high-quality output.”

The average increase for these HP supplies is expected to be around 3% (actual increase range is 0% – 11%) and is expected to affect roughly 40 SKUs.

Look out for the price increases to hit your bottom line next month.  Atlantic Inkjet is committed to providing the lowest possible prices for the highest quality ink and toner cartridges possible.  OEM Cartridges by HP will continue to be offered, but prices will go up proportionately to the increase by HP.  We will plan on keeping the prices of our remanufactured and compatible supplies low to save you money.
