SAMSUNG’S FREE SERVICE S.T.A.R. PROGRAM

With environmental challenges for our planet increasing day by day, it’s every individual’s moral responsibility to keep the environment clean and healthy. As a responsible company in itself, Samsung in 2005 had launched a free advanced, environmentally conscious program named S.T.A.R (Samsung Take back And Recycling). This program is basically a recycling return program which efficiently and safely reprocesses empty cartridges into their major usable component materials and then makes those reprocessed materials available to the commodity marketplace for reuse and new manufacturing. Moreover, any products that cannot be recycled are disposed of in an efficient way that causes minimal environmental impact. This ensures that the maximum value from each returned cartridge is obtained at the smallest environmental cost.

Anyone who uses the Samsung cartridges can join this noble program as the replacement of the Samsung cartridges is now easier than ever. All that is needed is printing and attaching a SmartLabel® to the package and dropping the return off anywhere in the U.S Postal Mail Service System, also this shipment is prepaid by Samsung. Hence users must combine multiple empty cartridge returns in a single, larger box as a unit and using a single label as this single shipment would further be good for the environment. The only rare restriction comes in the form of weight that any box must not exceed 20lbs and that larger parcels may not fit into USPS Postal box and require drop-off at a Postal Service office. For business customers, to return the cartridges for recycling the cartridge to be returned must be placed in your outgoing U.S. Postal Service business mail.

Surely all this effort with the wonderful foundation of S.T.A.R would yield helpful results and make our environment better and safer, anyone who wishes to join and make our world cleaner with the S.T.A.R program is most welcome.
