Then, there are generally two types of inks used in printers namely, pigment based ink and dye based ink.

• Pigment based printer ink:

Such type of ink dries off quickly and is extensively used in color printings.

• Dye based printer ink:

This type of ink delivers a range of different colors and takes less than two seconds to get dried.
