Refilling a Brother Toner Cartridge- Know How to Do it Yourself

You might think that inexpensive, compatible toners may fail to keep up with the performance of OEM toners. It might be messy to refill Brother Toner cartridge, but if you wear gloves and cover the place with a newspaper where refilling is done you can save your hands from getting ink stains. The following steps can guide you how to refill your Brother Laser Toner Cartridges easily-

• Place a newspaper or any absorbent material like a paper towel underneath, before refilling the ink cartridges.

• After you fill the syringe bottle with ink, remove the needle and seal the mouth with the cone shaped adapter.

• Put the needle in the cartridge hole through which the ink flows and then turn down the exit port.

• Carefully inject the ink into the cartridge until the ink spills out of the vent hole and is not lathered up.

• Repeat the process by putting the needle back into the syringe bottle and inject the needle into the vent hole, and continue doing this till the ink comes out of the cartridge hole and stops foaming.

• Keep the cartridge in this position for about 10 to 15 minutes and then continue doing the previous step.

• When everything is done, install the cartridge in the printer. You can even use an electrical tape to cover the exit and vent holes but, make sure to remove it before printing.
