HP Inkjet Cartridge

HP inkjet cartridge is a reservoir containing ink for HP printers. This is a multiple ink cartridge, which makes it ideal for professional-quality photograph or paper prints. The reservoir which contains ink is divided into sections called partitions. These are thermal inkjet cartridges that use a small piece of metal within the partition of the reservoir that heats up and turn the liquidized ink inside into a gas or form of it. This makes the ink drip into the nozzle as a droplet of HP inkjet cartridge, which spreads all over the paper that is being printed on. Liquid ink takes just milliseconds to convert into gas.

HP inkjet cartridges are available in the market in the following packages:

  • Standard cartridges in a blue package- this is available with lower cost.
  • Value Cartridges in a green package- this is available with lower cost per page as compared to standard cartridges. New high-yield XL cartridges in the same line of products offer the saving of almost 30% to 45 % on a cost-per-page basis.
  • Specialty cartridges in a red package- this is available with special features for costumers with special print jobs.

These cartridges are interchangeable. This helps users to use an XL black cartridge and a standard color cartridge in the same printer. Those who print volumes of text-only documents in bulk can take the advantage of both cartridges.
