Cartridges are the delicate objects that need to be handled carefully. If you want to fully utilize your cartridge without hampering its quality then certain points needs to be taken care while handling the cartridge. The cartridge with print head needs special care in handling as they are very sensitive piece. The print head is the most delicate part of the cartridge and should not be touched by hand. It can get scratched very easily and can damage the nozzle of the cartridge from where actually the ink comes out. Print head is the most important part of the cartridge as it is the only part that makes the impression on the paper.

A damaged print head can never give a quality print out or the printer will not recognize the cartridge insertion. The print head should be kept covered when not in use. If in case the print head get exposed to the air for long period, the ink nozzle may become dried out and block the smooth passage of ink.
