A user of laser toner cartridge should clean his cartridge on a regular basis. Cartridges give the better quality printing if the holes are cleaned properly. It is very simple to clean the cartridge. You require some tools to clean the cartridge like:-

• Paint brush
• Wash cloth
• Isopropyl alcohol
• Mask, and
• Cotton swabs, etc.

• Paint brush: A half inch wide brush with soft bristles is used to clean the cartridge. It is used to brush out ink from the tight corners of the cartridge. The cleaning through paint brush should be done carefully. And make sure any loose hair should not be left inside the cartridge.

• Isopropyl alcohol: Use only 99 percent pure Isopropyl alcohol for cleaning purpose as it evaporates without leaving any residue. You can also use chemical specifically manufactured for cleaning of VCR heads, tapes, cassettes and drives etc.   

• Cotton swabs: They are easily available in the market in any chemist shop. One can also use specifically made cotton swabs for cleaning printers. These swabs come with 6 inch stick for better cleaning.
