A user often gets confused in choosing the right kind of cartridge for his printer. A variety of cartridges are available in the market. All cartridges differ from each other in some or the other way. Yielding capacity of the cartridge is one measure of choosing the required piece of cartridge for the printer. Three types of yielding varieties are available in the market namely: high yielding, standard yielding and moderate yielding.

High yielding of cartridge is considered to be the best quality cartridge. They can give 2 to 3 times more pages of print out in comparison to other two types. Standard and the moderate type of cartridges are the jargon used to define the low yielding and standard yielding of the ink. The price of the cartridges also differs as per their efficiency of giving the number of print outs. And if you look at the cost of per page printing, high yielding and standard yielding cartridges have lower cost in comparison to low or moderate yielding cartridges.
