Desktop printing is revolutionized by the help of inkjet printers as these provide near-laser quality printing at a much lower basic cost. Inkjets make use of nozzles to transfer ink on the printing surface. The dots that come out create a minuscule, so small that several together can fit on each millimeter of printing material. Also these are multicolored which allows for sharp images to be created.
How Inkjet Cartridge is composed of?
The printer head of the inkjet contains the central part of the mechanical technology which manages the nozzles. On installing the inkjet cartridge, the stepper motor is utilized for controlling the movement of the cartridge, thus creating the mechanical procedure that develops the image.
A standard belt is used to hook up the print head to the step motor, while a stabilizer is there to guarantee a predictable, steady move. The most common printing medium, paper, is controlled by a paper feeder and a line of rollers which guarantees that the printing procedure goes along in combination with the output.
Basically, there are two principal technologies used by inkjets for transferring ink-
· Thermal Transfer Method
· Piezo Electric Method
Thermal method uses heat to generate ink bubbles which expand and contract to create stunning images. Hundreds of nozzles are utilized in this method to develop image quality, which allows for a high resolution image.
Piezo electric method controls the ink flow through the specific ways of electric transfer which can improve the image quality, though this method is not widely used. In this method, each nozzle contains crystal which contains a charge that creates a vibration which takes in the ink flow.
