You purchase a new cartridge, but they don’t print, what do you do? First of all, don’t panic. Use your knowledge to find out what the problem is and why does it exist. Make sure you have removed the tapes and protective plastic covers from the inkjet cartridge. Sometimes, the sticker that has been removed to allow the cartridge to breath leave some adhesive behind, and this little set back will give a great deal of mess and technical hassles. To fix this problem, simply remove the cartridge, peel off tapes, place the cartridge and follow the instruction to complete installation successfully.
At other times, there might be a problem with the print head where the users may encounter prints with streaky lines. You just need to run a head cleaning to help the new ink flow through the printer’s heads. If streaky lines are still present even after thorough cleaning, please remove the entire tape from the top of the cartridge and make sure that not a little bit of tape is still remaining since this could block the air vacuum line. Then print a test page and check if the problem still persists. If the process fails to rectify the problem, then either the ink tank has run out of ink or the consumable print head needs to be replaced.
You need to take note that dried ink can clog the spray mechanism on the nozzle and prevent the ink from being dispersed onto the paper.
